Gilbert & Barker Tall Visible Gas Pump, Mostly Complete, Barn Find. As-Is. For Sale

This is an early gasoline pump by Gilbert & Barker, a \"visible\" model. I am not sure of the model number, but I am sure you experts out there know exactly which one this is. There is a small crack in the glass, as shown. There are the original parts inside the glass, the gallon markers, etc. The handle fits but might not be the correct one. The pump is frozen. The cover for the handle area is here, with a small sliding cover. The inside levers are mostly frozen in place. It looks like all the \"guts\" are in it. Dents, dings, rust. The top is attached, as well as the top light holders and wiring. This needs a complete restoration. A true barn find. One plate says it was contracted to Standard Oil of New Jersey. Please study the photos and ask any questions you might have. This is being offered with and no Buy-It-Now price. Any white spots are camera flash reflection. Please ask questions if needed. Since these are ridiculously heavy, I am not shipping any. It is a \"local pickup\" item only. I am located in Central Virginia at an easy to find location. I am 1 hour West of Richmond, Va., 1 1/2 hours South of Washington, DC., and 1/2 hour East of Charlottesville. I can safely store this for a few weeks til you make your plans to pick it up.
