1900S NAVAJO SILVER & GREEN TURQ OLD PAWN SQUASH BLOSSOM HOOP EARRINGS :
$1500.00

up for sale is an extremely rare pair of Navajo old pawn coin silver and green turquoise squash blossom earrings that I am guessing to be from the early 1900s, possibly early 20s. This marvelous earrings has squash blossoms that are on a pair of hand drawn heavy guage wire hoops that have been stamped 2 times on each hand drawn hoop earring and each earring has 1 coin silver squash blossom bloom. the blooms have a nice thick squash blossom that you can not just squeeze the bloom and bend it, in fact, I can not bend the bloom petals at all with my hands. I gifted this set to my wife for her birthday 13 years ago, and she has only worn once. she said that they were too big for her. The hoops measures 1 inch in diameter and the squash blossom blooms measure 1 1/4" in length. The earrings measure 2 1/4" in total length. The earrings weigh 12 grams each. These 1900s Navajo silver and green turquoise old pawn squash blossom hoop The green turquoise is set in wonderful handmade bezels. This set of earrings have a fantastic patina that really sets off the green turquoise. There is no doubt that this set of earrings are without question, the best pair of Native American Navajo/ Pueblo earrings on ebay!! Handmade by Native American artisans, these earrings showcase a square-shaped main stone in green, representing the tribal affiliation of Navajo. These earrings are a collectible piece of Native American jewelry that beautifully captures the culture and craftsmanship of the time.
