1957 regular-size Zippo chrome windproof advertising lighter for New England Life Insurance Co. The closed front carries a gold-tone and dark sailing-ship design with NEW ENGLAND LIFE and STANDS FOR SECURITY lettering; the reverse is plain. Scratches, scuffs, spotting and edge wear are visible, including discoloration around the hinge. The removable flint-and-wick insert shows staining and dark chimney deposits, with its wheel, cam, wick and bottom pad/screw photographed.
