This listing is for an awesome antique vintage primitive finished stocking made from a wonderful old Crazy Quilt cutter quilt! Crazy quilts often have wonderful old silks, velvets, satins, and other unique fabrics! And they can have all kinds of fancy embroidery stitching, appliqués, etc. Pretty much anything goes! This one has the year 1913 embroidered on it along with a Cross, a flower, and initials. I\'m not positive of the initials, but it looks like it is P.G.J. or possibly P.L.J.?This stocking has a muslin backing and it measures approximately 18\" long when hanging. It would look fabulous hanging from your mantle at Christmas! Since the stocking is made from a cutter quilt, it may have minor flaws (worn fabrics, minor stains, etc), but I use the best part of the quilt for the stocking. Minor flaws just gives them that primitive charm! Stockings made from antique quilts make very unique and one of a kind stockings that you will treasure for years! I bought some old quilt stockings at a craft show years ago and I still use them and just LOVE them!
