Published in Ružomberok, Slovakia by the noted press of Karol Salva (4th Edition). Features an ecclesiastical approval from Spiš dated 1897.

Housed in a heavily embossed dark hardcover featuring a prominent dimensional cross design, ornate frame work, and decorative raised metal-style boss accents stamped into the boards.
Includes a full-page frontispiece engraving depicting Jesus blessing the children with the biblical quote from St. Mark below ("Nechajte dietky ku mne prísť...").

Good antique condition for a 120+ year-old devotional. External covers show moderate corner and spine edge wear, with small exposed board areas at the tips.
