England Postcards from the 1940s Unused - World War 2 with Churchill Sayings:
$15.00

PLEASE READ BEFORE BUYING! If you have any questions, please ask before you buy. I am happy to provide additional photos and get close ups of the corners, front and back of the postcards, etc. Also, if you have any questions about anything else related to the postcards, I will answer it to the best of my ability. I am paying for the shipping inside the United States.
These postcards are from my grandfather Charles Hanselman's personal collection. He was a quartermaster (supply truck driver) in Company 3621 with the U.S. Army during World War II. During his time there, he reported he ran supplies in England, France, Germany, and Italy to the United States troops.
These landscape postcards were bought in England during his time in the country around 1944. Each one has a notch cut out of the bottom, most likely in order to display them. Each postcard in the back has quotes from "The Prime Minister," which are from Winston Churchill, or from the "Minister of Production". They include, "We shall continue steadfast in faith and duty till our task is done." "We have to gain the Victory. That is our task." "We shall never stop, never weary, and never give up." "Let us all strive without failing in faith or in duty." "This is a time for everyone to stand to-gether and hold firm." Those were from The Prime Minister. " "T.N.T." -- To-day, not Tomorrow." That one was from the Minister of Production.
Again, if you want any closeups of the postcards, please let me know via message. If you are buying in a country outside the United States, please message me if you would like a less secure but cheaper option for shipping.
