Lot of Antique Photos Estate of Vice President George Mifflin Dallas Miniature For Sale

Two photographs of unidentified people, the first is cabinet card that has been trimmed down to fit into an 1860s/70s oval 1/4 plate photo case. The second is a small paper based image of a woman in a miniature frame. Both images are behind glass and in good antique condition with aging. The case when closed is 4\" x 3.25\". It once had purple velvet covers but the velvet has all work off. The case is still in good working condition.
These people came out of the estate ofGeorge Mifflin Dallas, who served as Vice President under James K. Polk. They could be relatives of his.
