A matched pair of highly collectible, vintage glass bottles embossed with the "MOJONNIER" logo inside a shield design.
These appear to be half-pint size bottles, commonly used in the dairy industry or for laboratory testing of milk and cream products.
These bottles would make an excellent addition to any antique bottle, dairy memorabilia, or vintage farmhouse-style kitchen collection.
Condition:
Both bottles are in excellent, pre-owned vintage condition.
There are no major chips, cracks, or deep scratches observed on the glass bodies.
They do show light interior and exterior hazing (cloudiness), which is typical for bottles of this age, but they remain clear enough to display well.
The metal wire bales and attachments show significant vintage patina and some surface rust, adding to their authentic antique look.
The original stopper on the left bottle is in place with the metal wire clasp.
The original stopper on the right bottle is in place, and this one retains its original chain pull, attached to the top of the stopper, allowing it to be easily removed (see photos).
The corks are old and may be brittle.
Details:
Embossing (Front): Shield design with "MOJONNIER" embossed diagonally inside.
Embossing (Bottom Rim): The bottom edges are embossed with "PATENTED" on the front right and "APRIL 1921" (appears to be "APR 12, 1921") on the left.
Please examine all photos carefully as they are an integral part of the condition and description of this item.
