This is the vintage, original 39 year old 1st issue of ThunderCats! ! This is a Mega-Key collector’s item. ThunderCats #1 is the origin story and first appearance of Lion-O, Panthro, Cheetara, Tygra, Wiliey Kit, Wiley Kat, Snarf, Jaga the Wise, Mumm-Ra, Slive, Jackylman, and Monkian.

This book has imperfections, but it complete and intact. There are stress points along the spine and around the edges. The cover has creases, bends, and slight wrinkles. The back cover also has imperfections. (See Photos). The cover, pages, and staples are solid. The pages are white, to slightly off-white, due to age. Even with all of the imperfections, the color on the cover is still vibrant, and the page colors are also very vibrant.

In my opinion, this book rates at Fine-/4.5 to 5.5, possibly a little better. A lot of the imperfections may be able to be corrected by using a press.

Even with the imperfections, this book is an excellent candidate for professional grading.

This is a serious collector’s item.
