USS Indianapolis, CA35,Signed Photographs, 5 Survivors, Atomic Bomb, #4 For Sale

What I am listing tonight, are 5 each 5x7 photographs, each copied from a negative (not a scan from a book) autographed, hand signed on their photograph by each of the five (5) Survivors of the July 30th sinking of the USS Indianapolis. The autographed photographs are of James O'Donnell, Felton Outland, William Mulvey, Troy Nunley, and Lyle Pasket.

These are one of a kind, I have no extra sets to offer.

The autographs are hand signed on the photographs they are actual, real not a scan, copy, reproduction, or forgeries of any type, and were acquired by me.

I personally knew each man and for almost 10 years took Michael Kuryla and his wife Lorain with us to book signings, many with "Dutch " Van Kirk. (please see scan)

I have attended all USS Indianapolis Reunions 1995-2007. The USS Indianapolis Organization had recognized me as a Historian and Photo Archivist, (see scan)I am also a member of the Second Watch Organization.

I attended Reunions when very few people that were not Survivors or their families attended. I became friends with these men. I had their original photographs copiedby a professional photographic laboratory, an Inter negative was made of each and 5x7 copies were madefrom the negative. This was the old way of doing things before scanners. It was a very expensive way to copy but worth It.

It has never been my Intent to profit off this event. I went to considerable personalexpense accumulating a large collection of photographs of the USS Indianapolis and traded the 5x7 photographs for the men's autographs. No Survivor was ever denied any number of photos he wanted, 1 or 25 I just asked fortheir autographs In return. It was estimated that I gave away several thousand 8 x 10 photos.

It Is hoped that through this listing and sharing this, that the memory of their sacrifices will never beforgotten.
