Vintage Richard Ginori porcelain hotel ashtray / advertising dish
Made for the Ambasciatori Palace in Rome, Italy.
The underside is marked RICHARD GINORI / PORCELLANA ARISTON / ITALY / 105. “Porcellana Ariston” is a documented Richard-Ginori production line; museum records identify Ariston-marked porcelain as production from roughly 1950–1980, mid-century modern.

This attractive square hotel advertising ashtray features a classic blue-and-white design with the Ambasciatori Palace emblem and “Ambasciatori Palace Roma” script on the interior. The underside bears the authentic Richard Ginori / Porcellana Ariston / Italy factory backstamp along with the number 105.
A wonderful piece of vintage Italian hotel memorabilia combining the collectible Richard Ginori name with historic Rome travel, hospitality, advertising, and tobacciana interest.

The center depicts the distinctive Ambasciatori Palace emblem featuring a period figure holding a document or scroll before an architectural tower, together with the stylized initials “AP.”

CONDITION
Beautiful mint vintage condition and appears to have never been used.
No chips, cracks, crazing, repairs, or other notable flaws observed. The porcelain remains clean and glossy, and the blue decoration is crisp and well preserved.
Extremely minor shelf or storage contact may be present on the underside consistent with age.
