Vintage 1940s-50s Western’s Thermic Jug Western Auto Metal Water Cooler Spigot For Sale

Vintage Western’s Thermic Jug insulated water/beverage cooler made for Western Auto Supply Co., Kansas City, Missouri.

Features a sage/blue-green metal body, original Western’s Thermic Jug decal, metal carrying handle with wood grip, threaded aluminum top lid, and lower metal dispensing spigot.

Shows significant age-related wear including surface rust, paint loss, scratches, oxidation, discoloration, and general cosmetic wear throughout. Original decal is still present but worn.

Important: The top lid is currently stuck and appears to be cross-threaded. I have not forced it open because I do not want to damage the original lid or jug. Because the lid cannot be removed, the interior has not been inspected. Spigot is present but has not been tested for leaks or operation.

Measures approximately 12” tall x 10” diameter. Exact capacity is unknown.

Sold as a vintage collectible/display piece. Due to age and the inability to inspect the interior, it is not represented as suitable for modern food or beverage use.
