We found this adorable Japanese stacking doll at a nearby local estate sale. We have found many Japanese items that were brought back from Japan much earlier than when we lived there in the late 1980's. Such items are displayed particularly in our family and guest rooms. The four and last picture were taken with a black felt background using workroom lighting and the other pictures were taken in a camera tent; the empty old Asahi bottle is not for sale, but to illustrate the relative size of the mug.
