Vintage Anri Italy hand-carved and hand-painted wooden figurine of an elderly peasant woman knitting, with basket. Genuine marked piece from the Val Gardena region of northern Italy.

The woman is shown in traditional Alpine clothing — headscarf, brown jacket, red apron over a long skirt, and clogs. She holds knitting needles and yarn/work in her hands, with a woven basket on one side and additional knitted items. Excellent facial expression and fine detail in the hands, clothing folds, and basket.
