Vintage aluminum dome-top lunch box paired with a matching Keapsit thermos bottle by the American Thermos Bottle Co.This is a classic mid-century workman’s / industrial style set. The lunch box features a rounded dome lid, metal handle, front latch, and side hinges. It measures approximately 9–10 inches long. A black nameplate reading “PECK ELLIS” is attached to one end.The thermos is a blue Keapsit vacuum bottle with the original red plastic drinking cup. Bottom is stamped Keapsit / American Thermos Bottle Co. It fits inside the lunch box as shown in the photos.These are from the 1950s-1960s and appear they were most likely used by a worker in the mines from the large amount of mining items that was obtained from the same location along with theseCondition
Both pieces show expected age and use:
