Vintage Cameo Creations “Princess Lamballe” Burwood Wall Shelf 1960’s For Sale

For sale is a vintage ornate burwood wall shelf by Cameo Creations. Cameo Creations produced wall art from the 1940’s to the 1960’s. I believe this piece is from the 1960’s, but it could be older. It is approximately 13.5” long and 7.5” wide. Burwood is a thick plastic, similar to Syroco. The cameo is a portrait titled “Princess Lamballe” and the artist is Nicholas Largelliere. The cameo is under plastic and it is mounted on a burnt orange colored velvet. The shelf is approximately 7.5”x4” and it is sturdy. There are a couple of stains on the top of the shelf and the stickers on the back are worn, but overall this piece is in excellent condition. The cameo and velvet are perfect and there are no cracks in the plastic. It’s a beautiful piece.
