Beautiful Set of 12 Vintage Heirloom Linen Luncheon Napkins

Up for sale is a complete, matching dozen of vintage linen luncheon napkins featuring exquisite Richelieu cutwork (whitework) embroidery in one corner. The craftsmanship highlights detailed floral motifs supported by classic buttonhole bars (brides) and padded satin stitching.

Each piece features a meticulously detailed scalloped edge accented with delicate picot loops along the valleys, a classic hallmark of high-quality vintage Madeira-style linens. The natural flax linen displays a wonderful slubby texture and a fine, crisp plain weave.

Condition Notes:

This complete set of 12 is in lovely vintage shape. Fabric is strong with no large structural flaws. As is common with stored estate textiles, there are a couple of very minor, faint storage spots and light yellowing on a few pieces (closely highlighted in the final macro photos). We choose to leave textile laundering preferences to the collector, but these faint spots should lift easily with a gentle oxygen-based restoration soak.
