Up for sale is a beautiful antique/vintage 1920s Art Deco compact wristlet / dance purse. This convenient style features a striking octagonal compact with a sleek black enameled face, beautifully accented by a cream-colored geometric pattern corner motif with a unique faux-eggshell textured inlay.The pendant opens up to reveal a fully intact interior mirror and a flip-top powder/rouge compartment decorated with a classic concentric engine-turned guilloché finish. The reverse side features a lovely geometric chevron engine-turned design. The inside rim is stamped with the production number 2352. It hangs from its original, period-accurate elongated bar-and-link wrist/finger chain.Pendant Size: Measures approximately 2.5 inches by 2 inches.Chain Length: Measures approximately 5 inches (perfect size for a wristlet or carrying chain).Markings: Stamped "2352" on the interior lid.Condition:Good to very good vintage condition for its age. The main hinge and the inner flip-lid snap shut securely. The internal mirror is unbroken and functional.
