The Spokane & Eastern Railway (S&ER) and the Inland Empire Railroad (IER) were electric interurban lines connecting Spokane with areas to the south and east into Idaho. Predecessor lines began operation in the 1890s, and the S&ER/IER date from 1904. They operated until 1929, at which time the Great Northern Railroad acquired the companies. Items from the S&ER/IER are seldom found, but I offer for sale an employee pass dated 1926. It was issued to an employee of the Spokane International Railway. The pass, which measures appx 4 x 2 1/2 inches, is printed on thin cardstock. It is in very good condition, with no rips, tears or folds.
