1930s Vintage Mabie Todd Swan Gray/Red Marble Self Filler 14k EF #4 Flex For Sale

Offering a lovely vintage 1930s Mabie Todd Swan Self Filler in Gray/Red Marble Celluloid(?) outfitted with a 14k #4 EF super flex nib. No cracks around cap. New sac. Marbling has beautiful chatoyance. This pen has incredible line variation as you can see in the writing samples. As I was taking up close pictures of the nib/feed, I did notice some tipping material missing from one of the tines. It alarmed me, so I dipped the pen and drew the black “S” figures as you can see the result in the picture. Just wanted to be upfront about that.

The inscription on the barrel reads:
