If there is any one set that embodies collectible vintage Pyrex, this may very well be it.
This colorful set of glass mixing bowls from the 1940s is a rare find for collectors and fans of mid-century modern style.
The set includes bowls in the primary colors of red, yellow, blue, and green, and each bowl has the 1940’s stamp on the bottoms described as non-numbered T.M. REG.’ in an arch above ‘PYREX’ horizontally in the middle, and ‘U.S. PAT. OFF’ below in an up-facing arch.” stamp. The bowls are made of high-quality glass and are perfect for mixing, serving, or displaying in a vintage kitchen.
This is the first of the 4 piece multi-colored Pyrex mixing bowl sets that were introduced in the 1940s hence the name “Primary Color Bowls”.
The bowls are in excellent vintage condition. Normal ware for age is observed in small flecks of paint missing on each bowl. The small blue one has more than the others. Pictures included. This is normal for MidCentury Pyrex.
There are no cracks, scratches or utensil damage on the inside. The colors are still bright with NO dishwasher damage. Additional pictures can be sent upon request.
This is my personal set so it has been loved.
