Four nice colorized post cards depicting the Schwebebahn suspendedrailway from Elberfeld to Barmen, the Cap Finisterre Cruise Liner (later the ill fated Taiyo Maru sunk during WW2) crossing above the Elbe tunnel in Hamburg, the Frankfurt Hbf Main Central station, and finally the Braunschweig Gewandhaus, a Gothic hall in Brunswick.
Two were sent Feldpost with the Frankfurt station card being identified (from other postcards I have from him) as belonging to a soldier from the115th Infantry Division,2.Eskadron/3. Badisches Dragoner-Regiment Prinz Karl Nr. 22 formed in April 1915 and fought on both the western and eastern fronts throughout the remainder of the war. Both of the feldpost are dated 1917 and 1918 within the time frame of the war. I did not try to translate any of the correspondence. The other two are unposted but I believe were with the same set.
The postcards are about 3.5 x 5 inches.
