A rare mark on this Hudson River Pottery 2 Gallon Stoneware pottery features the distinctive stylized tulip with dotted leaves and striped petals that this pottery was known for. Marked in 4 lines - Hudson River Pottery / West 12th Street / Roche Bros Agts / 84 Fulton St. A rare 4-line mark makes this stoneware a highly coveted piece. Condition is very good, with a small sliver off of the back heel edge from touching another piece in the kiln and breaking away when removed. 10 inches H.

This piece will be sent next weekend as it is situated in my New Hampshire Barn. I am involved with a show here at my home in Connecticut till next Sunday. The piece will be ready to be sent, the morning of 7/1.
