Beautiful depiction of the angel Gabriel in antique plaster relief or cast plaster-very old. His horn/trumpet for announcing is at his side. In Abrahamic religions (Judaism, Christianity, Islam and others) Gabriel is an archangel w the power to announce God's will to mankind. He is mentioned in the Hebrew Bible, the New Testament, the Quran among others. In excellent condition with ome minor flaking in a couple of spots to the paint finish annd some wear around the metal wire hanger. This is still very strong and sturdy around the metal wire.
