Condition: antique, gold gilt, mid 1800's, porcelain bowl shaped, framed, hand-painted and with Victorian type paper-printed type scene of children, border of that bowl interior appears to have been hand-painted in red-possibly Dutch, Swedish colors? You can see the picture has split, torn and actual piece missing, this is OLD, worn, very primitive with chips missing on frame borders which is of gesso, gild gilt and seen many years of life, now left behind-one is left to wonder its exact origins and family history. This is a great project piece for serious frame collectors or just those who love true antiques for their home or office. Expect IMPERFECTIONS and PATINA. Backside of porcelain bowl states: 4XcE (not in any order-appears stamped-not fam with this stamp), Backside old, dark framed insert, old black paper missing remnants, old wire and hook sides to hang.
