Axe is in original condition with signs of corrosion and wear measures approximately 17” long with an 4 1/2” cutting edge with a haft opening of approximately 2 1/8” long by 3/4” inch wide head haft appears original and is likely hickory or Maple. dates to the late 1700s too mid 1800s see pics for more details.
