Authentic and ancient faience ushabti / shabti dating to the Late Period - 26th Dynasty (~664-525 B.C.) in Ancient Egyptian history. This shabti exhibits remains of it's blue/green glaze and part of the register of glyphs can still be seen. Very nice actually. Attached to original stand and label seen on bottom.
Measures 4.5 inches tall including the base. Shabti itself measures 4.0 inches.Repaired in two places on the lower half. Provenance: Deceased estate of John Schaffer (Orlando, FL).
