Box of 12 vintage Shiny Brite double indent glass ornaments; 1946-54 green box For Sale

These amazing Shiny Brites are actually indented on both sides, so they look good no matter which side you see from the tree or wherever you may display them. The glitter sided indent ornaments with mica are much harder to find. And, these come in the early post WWII green box - also made in red - which was introduced in 1946 and replaced with another version in 1954. In the center, you see Uncle Sam shaking Santa\'s hand. Ten of the ornaments are from the same set. The other two are Shiny Brites also, and of a similar style, but have more mica/metallic sides and less glitter (there is a close up of the cap on one of them). I bought these at a neighborhood sale and they allowed me to swap out two others they had in the box which also had not been part of the set for these which matched better in time period and form. :) The glitter sided ones have two shapes - some are rounded at the bottom and the others are more teardrop shaped. The two primarily mica finish ones are also rounded on the bottom. There is a photo that shows them side by side for comparison. These are in very good vintage condition. They have been used, and show a few scrapes or areas of wear, but I consider them minor, especially as they are 70 - 80 years old, and we all acquire a few of those. :) I detected no cracks, breaks, repairs, and no significant loss of paint or glitter. I love the overall patina, colors and shapes. You\'ll also notice that some of the indents look a bit dull or powdery - it is the glitter that over the years has loosened and deposited residue in the center. I did not attempt to clean these, but you could wipe/clean all the indent areas depending on the look you want. I have done my best to show both sides and different angles, but if you need more pictures, just let me know. Please do use photos for condition reference, and as part of the overall item description. The round ones are approximately 3\" in diameter, not counting the loop at the top of the cap. The two teal ornaments are just a smidge smaller. The teardrop ornaments are about 4\" high, also not counting the loop.
