This is a lovely period slide of Le Louvre des Antiquaires, a relatively modern name, an historic structure in Paris on the Place du Palais-Royal. It faces the Louvre. The building was designed by Alfred Armand as a hotel, the Grand Hôtel du Louvre, and completed in the early 1850s for Baron Haussmann as part of his efforts to modernize central Paris for Emperor Napoleon 111. His improvements gave us the handsome city we enjoy today. However, he destroyed all sorts of important historic structures, many Medieval, for his Emperor\'s improvements.WE HAVE MANY SLIDES!!
