Early Original Large Antique Daguerreotype Photo in Nice Dress, Wearing Nice Early Bonnet, Taken c.1845

DESCRIPTION: Beautiful early antique daguerreotype image takenduring the very early daysof popular daguerreotype photography, c1845. Very clear image. I apologize for the reflected light/camera in my scans, obviously not part of the actual photo itself, which is quite clear.

Simple mat type as shown, typical of the decade prior to1850.

This dag has great, early mid-1800's subject matter and typical of an older woman. Nice seated antebellum pose and appearance. Hair covered and wearing a nice, early American style bonnet.

1/6 plate size,in an early 1/6 plate brass mat, set in its original leather case. Nice design and is in excellent condition. 2 sides of the case are split at the hinge, but STILL THE ORIGINAL CASE THAT THE PHOTO HAS BEEN IN FOR 200 LONG YEARS!!!

THIS IS A VERY INTERESTING EARLY WOMAN IN A GREAT EARLY DAG!!EXTREMELY UNUSUAL, VERY RARE, AND VERY NICE TO FIND SUCH AN EARLY ANTIQUE DAGUERREOTYPE PHOTO !!!
