ThisHarmony Kingdom figurinenamed "The Big Day" was carved by Peter Calvesbert in 1995. It was hand painted/finished bylocal craftsmen in the Cotswoldarea of England.
Harmony Kingdom description:
"Carved to celebrate their wedding, this figurine (not a box) is the first in the “Cake Topper” series. Since Peter’s wedding coincided with the inauguration of the Royal Watch, this piece was included in the inaugural year’s membership kit. Peter’s wedding party also received this piece as a gift. Golf clubs are present due to Peter’s then new fascination with the sport. Murphy is resting upon Peter’s shoeless foot, and Spike is poised on the couple’s shoulders. Peter sculpted Andrea with an apron and washing glove as he sarcastically remarks that “women like to wash and cook.” “Colwall 30 Sept 95” is the date of their wedding, and the plane tickets with SAA signify their honeymoon to South Africa. Hallmarks include HBC logo."
