"Muffy was created in an Uber by Darren Hutchinson, Anna Zhuo, and Tri Nguyen on our way to dinner after C2E2 back in 2019. Just the idea had us laughing until we ran out of breath. Tri and Darren had messed with the idea of writing a book about her and in September of 2020, it had begun.

Muffy the Pimp Slayer took on a life of her own and we felt it was a story worth telling. The fun part of the story comes from the parodies and pop culture references. While it is a serious story, there is humor in the characters and design."
