Here we havea versatile white porcelain paper boat/hat shaped open salt dish (offered by the each piece) from Apilco (France.) It is intended as an open salt, but it could also be used as an individual dipping sauce dish, or to serve or hold any number of small things -- from diamond rings to cuff links to small candies.
These come from a very large estate collection of hundreds of pieces of white French porcelain. The vast majority of the pieces were purchased at Williams Sonoma and nearly all of them are marked either Apilco or Pillivuyt. Many were never used, and still have their labels attached. Those that were used, were used very carefully. Many are quite rare, but all are workhorses in the kitchen. We have lots more porcelain in our store, to which we add new inventory daily, and we're always happy to combine shipping at actual cost.
