Pair of Signed Painted Portrait Florentine Style Wooden Plaques For Sale

Up for sale is a pair of oval portrait wall plaques. Each measures 13\" tall and 11\" wide and are bordered with a mottled gold Florentine finish. Each portrait is signed by the artist - hard to make out. Looks like Bottine and Lammontt. I thought these might be decoupaged prints but I inspected them with a magnifier and there are not dots from a printing process. They are had painted and the brushstrokes can be seen. They do have a clear protective coat over the painting. Age and origin are unknown. A very beautiful pair of paintings.
