FINE EARLY 1950s HAND DECORATED ROSENTHAL PORCELAIN PELICANMODEL 1546 - A 1934 DESIGN BY FRITZ HEIDENREICHA rarely encountered figure modeled by one of the best Rosenthal art department sculptors. Base marked with Philipp Rosenthal Art Department Selb stamp (used between 1934 and 1956), impressed with mold number and artist's name, and initialed by the studio decorator.
