U.S. Model 1892 Krag Jorgensen Rifle Bayonet Knife + Scabbard c. 1897 K-5 For Sale

U.S. Model 1892 Krag Bayonet. Measures 16.25\" overall with a blade length of 11.75\". The blade is smooth and shows age patina and light wear. the pommel shows scattered surface rust as does the guard. The tang is stamped US on one side and the other side is stamped with the year, 1897. Excellent working press-stud, Wood grips show some loss The scabbard show a brown age patin throughout with some dings on the front center. The belt attachment is in good working order and moves from 10-2 which is correct. These were used on the Krag Rifles during the Spanish American War and the 1890\'s and was a pre-cursor to the M1903 Rifles and the Model 1905 Bayonets of WW1. See photos.
