RARE WW2 Paratrooper Airborne Canteen Set - Dated 1942/3

Condition: Excellent. The canteen cover has no holes, tears, or other damage. It does feature wear from age and use, including fading of the OD #3 color and a minor fray on the binding edge of the right flap. The brass snaps are working great, and both the canteen and cup are in excellent shape as well.

This particular set features the M-1941 airborne design, with extra canvas on the back to ensure the canteen cover hook wasn't ripped off the belt during a jump. The cover is dated 1942, the canteen 1943, and the cup 1944, with the cover and cup manufactured by Foley Mfg. Co., and the canteen by G.P.&F. Co. These original, mid-war paratrooper setsare difficult to find in this condition, so don't miss out on this one!!
