VINTAGE GRISWOLD 8 SLANT LOGO Erie CAST IRON SKILLET W/ HEAT RING 704 RESTORED For Sale

For sale is a rare griswold #8 skillet 704L with the slant logo and Erie below the logo. This piece has been stripped and seasoned multiple times. No cracks or issues. Has a beautiful smooth cooking surface that shows use over its 100 year history with tool marks. With use as the seasoning darkens these will be less noticeable. Bottom has some sulfur pitting so here’s a chance to get a great piece at a great price. Check out photos and ask any questions. As this is has been only seasoned a few times and not used to cook the color is closer to dark brown than black. Photos taken in daylight, which shows issues with more clarity than in person of any marks.

This item was stripped down to bare metal using collector approved lye bath and electrolysis treatments. This process ensures the removal of all residue from previous use making it safe to use once more. The item is lightly seasoned with 4 rounds of crisco at 450 for 1 hour.
