VTG 1940s Excello Earthenware Food Warming Child\'s DIVIDED DISH Bear Train ABCs:

For your consideration is this vintage warming dish most likely produced by Excello. This particular plate is patented under number US2332173A, filed in 1941, by Paul Shaffer. There are three divided sections. Food is kept warm by adding warm water through the hole to the under vessel. The stopper has long been separated from the piece. It measures 8 inches in diameter and 9 inches with the handles. There are no chips, breaks or cracks. The graphic transfer are in excellent condition considering the items age. The side rims are painted pink with a high glaze over it. Great for 1940s era nursery decor.
