Vintage Chinese Cloisonné Hippo Figural Open Yawn Black Floral Brass 5.5" Wide x 3.5" HighMost of these old pieces on the current market have lost their tails and/or ears over the years - this one still has all three pieces intact, hard to find.There is a small dent on the right rear hip which is well-camouflaged by the floral pattern, as well as a dent on the side of the nose with loss of enamel - see last two close-up photos.

We do not clean vintage items and leave that to the discretion of the buyer. All vintage items will show signs of wear consistent with age, as should be expected.
We consider "vintage" to be 25+ years old (from late 1990's or before), and "antique" to be 100+ years old (from mid 1920's or before).
