Vtg Boker Magnum Seki Japan Folding Boot Linerlock Hunter Pocket Knife Blem For Sale

This is a vintage Boker Magnum folding liner lock pocket boot knife, made in Seki Japan by Tak Fukuta circa 1980s. It measures 3 7/8" long closed and the 440C stainless steel blade measures 2 3/4". This is old stock found in the original factory in Japan. Among the blemish ranges are: ( B) tight blade when opening because blade is too tight between bolsters making it difficult to open, also has staining. Has crest on handle. ( C) tight blade when opening because blade is too tight between bolsters making it difficult to open. Slightly sticky lockup. Also has staining. No crest on handle. (D) blade opens too easily from closed position. Has staining. No crest in handle and there is glue around this area. (E) tight blade when opening because blade is too tight between bolsters making it difficult to open. Has staining. No crest in handle. Has chip in handle near fingergroove. Thumb stud missing. The price will vary depending on condition. Tak Fukuta was the first Japanese member of the American Knife Maker's Guild, and apprentice to Bob Loveless. He hand crafted fine quality knives that impressed his mentor. Over the years, his factory in Seki, Japan also produced knives for Parker, Valor, Gutmann, Explorer, Frost, and Browning among others. After his passing, several vintage old stock models were found at his warehouse. This knife is one of these rare finds.
