Rich tonal image, bright and clean, light aging front/back, front shows some rubbing/light indentations, edges trimmed, penciled notation on verso

Other:

Less common small portrait of the French opera singer Marie Amée (1852-1887) shown at a somewhat younger age. Known mostly for her opera-bouffes performances in the 1870s, she was unable to rekindle her career when this form of performance lost popularity. She died young at 35 from cancer. This image was probably mounted to a CDV card at one time.
