Vintage Model 39(?) Tokheim Gas Pump for parts and or Restoration - LOCAL PICK-UP ONLY.
* Located at an estate in Storrs, Connecticut (Home of UCONN Main Campus).
* We believe it is a Model 39, but the name plate on the side door is missing, so we can\'t be sure
* Made by Tokheim, Fort Wayne, Indiana
* The pump stands 58\" tall and is 21\" wide by 16\" deep
* Condition:
- While there is light rust on the shell and inner parts, there is no place that we could see where
it has rusted through or deteriorated to a point where it isn\'t restoreable
- There are no dents in the shell and the base is solid
- The inner porcelain face plates are in very good condition and the number wheels look OK, but
we didn\'t turn them at all
- The top hinge on one door is broken (see photo)
- The door glass and gasket is missing from the same door
- We weren\'t able to turn the rotary pump inside, so it may be frozen but you would have to
remove it and open it up to see for sure
- The chrome parts will need to be re-chromed
- The top was capped off, there was no globe
- Nameplate on the side of the pump is missing
* Looks like a perfect candidate for restoration, but we\'ll let you be the final judge

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: We just found the original equipment lease for this pump from Republic Oil dated 30 November 1964. It identifies the pump as a Model number 39, Serial Number: 1002135.
