1/4th Plate Daguerreotype of Painting, Mid 1800’s, Original Seals intact This stunningly gorgeous and unique quarter plate Daguerreotype features a lovely painting. This image has the original seals intact, and is housed in a complete but separated leatherette style case. The case has damages consistent with its age as can be seen in my listing photos. Inside the case there is a date handwritten from the 1860’s. I have not been able to identify the lady in the painting. Such a unique and intriguing image in my opinion.
