A rare 6.5 x 4” albumen photograph depicting Daniel Webster! This photograph was donated to the Dartmouth College archives in January 1895. The reverse contains a history of the portrait indicating it was taken from a daguerreotype photographed in 1849. Also includes several handwritten notations from various collections and an indication it was discarded by the Dartmouth college photographic bureau.
