1892 Columbian Exposition Medal designed by Augustus Saint-Gaudens, 3\" diameter For Sale

Bronze medallion designed by Augustus Saint-Gaudens for the 1892 Columbian International Exposition, in commemoration of the 400th Anniversary of the landing of Columbus.
It measures 3\" (77mm) in diameter and is in very good condition. There is no wear to the patina and no dings or scratches. The design is very 3-dimensional, sharply detailed and everything is in good order. There is only a small dent to the rim (barely visible at 1 o\'clock). The medal weighs a solid 7.25 oz. (209 g).
