Original early real photo postcard featuring the Allen County Courthouse in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Excellent elevated view showing the courthouse, clock tower, surrounding downtown buildings, pedestrians, horse-drawn vehicles and early street activity.

The photograph is identified in the image “Allen Co Court House -235- Ft Wayne, Ind” and bears the photographer’s marking “Copyright 1907 J.E. Beach, Bryson, O.” This makes it considerably more interesting than the more common printed courthouse postcards.

Postally used with a Waterford, Indiana June 14 postmark and original one-cent Franklin stamp. Addressed to Miss Eva Albright of Butler, Indiana. Condition shows toning, light staining, edge/corner wear and general age-related surface wear as pictured.
