Beautiful and highly decorative Judaica edition featuring an ornate metal binding with raised Hebrew and Jewish imagery, Ten Commandments tablets, crown, colorful detailing and turquoise-colored cabochons. The reverse features additional embossed decoration including a menorah and Jerusalem imagery.
The text is in Hebrew and English. The publisher notes that the plates for this edition were made from the Jewish Family Bible, London Edition 1881, with the Hebrew and English text revised by M. Friedlander.
Condition: Good. The metal binding shows age-related surface wear/tarnishing. The binding remains attached but has some looseness/separation at the spine. Pages show age-related toning with some spotting/staining to the page edges. Please review all photographs carefully for the binding, page edges, and overall condition.
