1996 Chilmark Hood’s Texans Color Sgt Civil War Pewter Chernak #95/2500 For Sale

Issued in 1996, this example is individually numbered 95 of 2,500 produced. The detailed sculpture depicts a color sergeant from Hood’s Texas Brigade holding the unit flag, with a bedroll and military equipment incorporated into the battlefield groundwork.

The sculpture is mounted on a finished round wooden display base with a front identification plaque reading:

HOOD’S TEXANS’ COLOR SGT

The piece bears Andrew L. Chernak’s cast signature, the 1996 copyright date, Chilmark medallion and individual edition number.

It is in excellent pre-owned condition and displays beautifully. The wooden base and identification plaque show only minor wear consistent with age and previous display.
