9 Antique H.H. Bennett Wisconsin Dells Stereoviews Kilbourn WI Photographs For Sale

Offered as a single lot are nine antique stereoview photographs by H. H. Bennett of Kilbourn City, Wisconsin, depicting scenery and rock formations in and around the Wisconsin Dells. The cards are from Bennett's series “In and About the Dells of the Wisconsin River.” Each carries the H. H. Bennett, Kilbourn City, Wis. publisher information along the sides and a printed caption identifying the view.
The nine cards show a variety of Dells subjects, including distinctive rock formations, waterways and visitors posed within the landscape. These are genuine period stereoviews and not modern reproductions.
The cards are in varying condition and show the effects expected from considerable age and use, including toning, fading, spotting or soiling, edge and corner wear, surface wear and other age-related imperfections. One card has significant damage and a very old repair, with the repair readily visible from the reverse. Both the front and back of this card are specifically photographed.
Each of the nine stereoviews has been photographed individually so that the subject, caption and condition can be evaluated. Please examine all photographs carefully, as they form an important part of the description and provide the best indication of condition.
